So you want to be part of the Ryersonian newsroom and do an internship in fourth year? Here is what your final year will look like.

You'll take JRN851 - That's Newsroom Masthead. This is the Ryersonian Newsroom course. And you will take JRN 850

the Internship course. There's lots of flexibility with both of these courses. You can complete the Ryersonian over six weeks, fulltime, working Monday to Friday

Monday to Friday. Or you can complete the course over 12 weeks on a parttime basis. That's 2 1/2 days each week, over the course

of the semester.  The same is true for internship. Fulltime and part time options are available but it may depend on the placement

you choose. You can also choose in what semesters you take these course - Fall, Winter or for internship, even summer. While many

students choose to take the Ryersonian and Internship in the same semester, you don't have to. Then you will need 5 other courses to

complete 4th year. That's 1 course from the open elective table and 4 one count courses, or equivilant, from any of the following: Table 1,

table 2, table 4, or the the open elective table. And that's it!

Remember to refer to your undergraduate course calendar and run an advisement report on RAMMS to make you are satisfying all

course requirements.
